Having an editor review your manuscript prior to publication (or even submission) is vital. A second pair of eyes catches what you may have missed, and having someone read the story who doesn’t live in your mind helps to catch things that may not be fully explained or plot points that aren’t developed. And yet, one of the biggest issues writers face is the cost. Some editors charge thousands of dollars.

We don’t. We understand that money may be in short supply to a new author, and having a good job doesn’t necessarily mean needing to go into debit or spend an arm and a leg. We believe that all authors deserve quality editing. And that’s why we’ve set our prices where we have.

I’ve been a published author since 2002. I’ve edited since 2007. With years of experience in both the romance and speculative fiction genres, my editing eye catches tropes that have been done before (to death!), references or historical issues that may be cliche and what the genre has done and where it’s going. Someone with a full breadth of experience in the industry who has sat on both the author and the publisher sides of the desk provides a much more in-depth and comprehensive edit of your book.

If you’d like to check out our editing services, I encourage you to do so. We are happy to edit your book and right now have immediate openings.
