One of the questions that so many authors ask is how do you get it all done? The answer is to create a plan. And then, don’t leave the plan somewhere–work it.
So what sorts of things should you plan?
- Daily writing goals
- Social media postings
- Time to be social on social media
- blogging
- other marketing activities (looking for newsletter swaps, guest blogs, etc.)
All of this should go on if not a daily plan then a weekly one. Then, spend a week or two actually doing everything on your plan. See how it feels to you. Are you doing too much work? Not enough? How are your book sales? (If you can track daily.) Don’t be afraid to experiment and don’t be afraid to tweak the plan as necessary.
